Asda launches a ‘Home’ range – and it’s surprisingly cool
Posted by James Hood

Asda has launched a new George range especially for homely things! The supermarket, which has become known for offering clothes at affordable prices under it’s George brand, has done the same with home furnishings and accessories like lighting and cushions.

In a brand new ad campaign (which you might have seen) the company has a tongue in cheek approach to disposable bits and bobs for the home. And now you too can get your hands on the goods (and not worry about spilling red wine all over them).

Items start at just £1. But surprisingly, despite Asda’s reputation for the cheap and cheerful, its George Home range is really rather cool. There’s practically every item you could need to kit out your entire pad, from sofas and bedding right down to napkin rings, and all in beautifully bright colours.

The boss over at Asda, Andrew Moore, said: “We recognised a gap in the market for a retailer to offer stylish, fashionable and high quality homewares. Customers will get great quality and impeccable design at Asda prices.”
